First, we explain the pathology we have evaluated to you. We try to explain the condition in an easy-to-understand manner, using as little jargon as possible, so that the patient understands the cause of his or her symptoms.
We then make a comprehensive judgment and suggest the most appropriate treatment (that we can offer). We consider the advantages and disadvantages of each treatment method before making a proposal, but if there is a treatment method that you do not wish to undergo, please let us know.
If we determine that your preferred treatment method will not help improve your symptoms, we will inform you of this, but you can accept it and undergo that treatment, so please discuss this with us.
