Chief Complaint

Pain from the right neck to the inner edge of the scapula

Patient

28-year-old female, Office worker

Current History

The pain started several months ago and is accompanied by headaches. She does a lot of computer work at work and stretches every day, but this has had no effect.

Assessment

Based on interview and results of physical and neurological examination, a cervical intervertebral joint lesion was assumed to be the cause of the severe pain in the medial border of the scapula.

Treatment

The patient underwent 20 minutes of TEAT treatment and 30 minutes of Nippon Massage treatment, focusing on the cervical area.

Outcome

After four sessions, the patient's neck pain with headache was gone, and her back stiffness remained, but she was able to control it.
